Water Treatment Operator

Our greatest asset has been and will continue to be our people. We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Site Operator within our Glenn Springs Holdings department based in Copperhill, TN.
The Site Operators will be responsible for safe, efficient, and proper operation and mechanical /electrical maintenance of two water treatment plants and various collection systems located on an historic mining and ore processing site. Treatment includes raising the pH of the contaminated water through lime addition followed by aeration, clarification, and discharge. Additional responsibilities include electrical and mechanical maintenance of multiple satellite pump stations; pipelines that supply raw water to the plants from various areas spread over a very large site; operation and maintenance of all ancillary systems and equipment on site. These include, among other things, multiple environmentally remediated areas, groundwater collection systems, two engineered wetlands, safety and security fencing, access roads, and power line right of ways.
Specific job duties include, but are not limited to:
Ensure that the facilities are operating in an environmentally sound manner and in compliance with permitted discharge limits as well as following current standard operating procedures.
Monitor plant HMI system, Davis Mill Creek system, Collapse monitoring, Injection monitoring.
Operation of the water treatment plant, including all testing requirements, minor maintenance and lubrication for related equipment.
Calibrate and maintain pH monitoring stations.
Sample collection and shipping.
Lime silo operation.
Must understand a PLC/HMI system of treatment plant operation and interlocks. Be able to troubleshoot the same.
Responsible for the upkeep of environmental daily checklists and completing all daily log sheets.
Operation of emergency generators.
Keep access open to all facilities, able to operate a rotary mower.
Able to keep all inlet screens clean.
Plant wide security during all shifts.
Willing to work overtime to cover vacations and sickness.
Responsible for site and plant housekeeping.
Responsible for weed eradication.
Perform plant maintenance.
Perform other duties assigned by management.
Perform vehicle maintenance.
Must understand Site Safety/Environmental Policies and the Emergency/Hazardous Communication Plan.
High school diploma, with the ability to understand basic plant chemistry and general math.
Able to work under the direction of the Site Manager with minimal supervision as well as have the ability to communicate with management.
Hazwoper trained (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response)
Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. for short distances, walk considerable distances, perform physical activities that require working off ladders and climbing stairwells all in a variety of weather conditions.
Valid driver license.
Ability to operate light equipment such as bobcat, tractor, and forklift.
Must be able to work a continuous 24/7 rotating schedule.
Must be able to respond to site operational needs when scheduled for "on call" shifts.
Must be able to understand the hazards of working with the following chemicals: acids, hydrated lime and other miscellaneous lab chemicals and reagents.
Must be able to work in confined spaces.
This job is a multi-task position must be able to work in a team environment.
Must be prepared to fill slots when scheduled operators take vacation.
Preferential Job Qualifications/Duties include but are not limited to:
Licensed electrician in the state of Tennessee
Millwright skills

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
